The Royal Australian Naval Reserve Rifle Club Inc runs rimfire metallic silhouette matches on every 2nd, 3rd & 4th Saturday of the month. Beginners are welcome and will be assisted by experienced shooters to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.  Ammunition and Club rifles are available to hire for those who do not have their own equipment.

Beginners must bring a valid drivers licence or some other form of identification, sign a P650 Form, and will be able to shoot under the Club's licence and insurance for up to two shoots. Under 18's must have either one or both parents present to sign on their behalf.  

 Sign in is at 8:30am for 9:00am start. Please come early to assist with set up as well as to sort out any paperwork requirements.

Rimfire metallic silhouette is an inexpensive yet very challenging and exciting form of shooting. Nothing beats the pleasure of hearing the metallic ping when a target is hit.  

The ranges at which the rimfire metallic silhouette targets are shot are as follows: Chickens are placed at 40m, pigs at 60m, turkeys at 77m and rams at 100m.
